Marina Movie Story
First, disappointment of this film is the promotion of the film, it is mainly focused on youngster and about love. But the whole film is again about “Pasanga”. But this time not in school, in Beach. The movie talks about young children struggling to survive in Marina beach. The movie elaborates on how they come there, how they survive, their feelings, their joy and etc….
“Pakoda” Pandiyan plays a main role. He comes to beach in search of job and he has his own story to run away from home. Like him, there are other children who has their own story. He meets a boy who helps him and both become very good friends. His friend faces some trouble and getting caught by police. Then he comes back and seeing Pandi being held by Jaiprakash who is in Child help line. Now, a postman who is very friendly with other children adopts Pandi. And the story goes on and ends when all the children go to school.
And side by side we have Siva Karthikeyan who proposes, loves and leaving a girl. The dialogs are good in terms of how guys are getting affected in a love relationship. It is quite enjoyable.
Good points of Marina
- Funny and interesting dialogs
- Good Screenplay
- Good Title Song

- Another story to tell the world about child labour/worker
- Pakoda Pandi plays a lead role and he rocks

- Everyone of them contributed to the success of this film

Looking forward to watching this – I'm a big fan of Siva Karthikeyan from Adhu Idhu Yethu and Super Singer… Great TV host, I'm sure he'll carry over the same screen presence on to the big screen.
Nice review Suppan, we're waiting for your Vettai review (is it better than Paiyya?)
Bro watch KSY… trailer is really shit and deceiving but when you watch the actual movie, you'll realise how good it is.
New comer Balaji has tried a new type of screenplay and fresh narrative – it's worth checking out for sure
