Here is the list of all Tamil Movies released in 2011. I have ordered them in 4 category. I do not want to give them star ratings because, there will be lots of conflicts. I have measured the ratings based on movie release time, movie genre and other regular aspects.
A – Best movie and a must Watch
B – Good movie
C – Average movie
D – Worst movie
E – Worst of the worst

Nice list of movies to check out… I'm surprised that Siruthai and Vellore Mavattam are better films than Osthi and Kavalan. I'd put all these movies in the same level but of course this is your opinion
Otherwise it's great. I'm disappointed that some of the big films like Kavalan, Velayudham and Mankatha didn't get a proper review from you as these are all interesting films to talk about as they are seen as being good by some and worst by some.
Anyway, hoping to see more reviews soon from you. I hope your review for Mambatiyyan and Rajapattai come. If possible, in the future, make little comparisons to the original if the movie is a remake.

I thought 7aam Arivu wasn't that bad. I'd say it was good movie but people's expectations were higher as Ghajini was a super hit.

It must have been a difficult job categorizing so many movies and then sorting them in this order. Only thing I would disagree with you any day is Siruthai being placed in Group B. I mean there is absolutely no quality in content or the acting. It was just another mass masala movie.

Mohan, a films success does not reflect on it's quality.
Films like Kuselan and Anbe Sivam were flops but were praised by critics.
Velayudham is the biggest pile of shit we've seen this year. It's nothing to do with Vijay… it's just a terrible film.
You need to accept that. Suppan is a neutral viewer as you know, so you can't accuse him of being biased against Vijay.
There is no substance of difference in Thirupaachi and Velayudham etc and how can it be put in Best Movies list……………..

Hey buddy,I like Nanban songs and expect it to be a great success. I really love to watch it first day first show and give it Excellent rating. I liked 3 idiots screenplay and I expect the same from shankar. “Love Anthem” a nice beat for ears but kind of late after “Kolaveri” we all know the issues between Simbu and Dhanush. So its like monkey see monkey do business. They even want to act with the same heroines. Apart from all this, I like his voice, he has got talent, the idea behind the song is good but not impressing.

There are many class films in Hollywood like The Hangover and Harold & Kumar which are entertaining movies but don't teach good things…
The quality of a film is not reflective on the material in it. Smoking and drinking doesn't make a movie bad. Aren't you tired of watching the same old masala film where the hero says a punch dialogue and everyone becomes a good person.
