Tamil Padam Story
The story is similar to many epic movies and scary movie. I advise you to watch it for yourself. But go with a friends who love these type of movies…. Its kind of complicated to tell the story 
Tamil film Industry should encourage these type of movies.
Good Points of Tamil Padam
- Tamil industry has gone to next level by releasing this film
- This film has proved once again that Tamilians love these type of Naiyaandi films
- Fantastic opening
- Loved most parts of the film
- Songs were awesome, I never thought about songs being mimicked
- Low budget and big success
- Siva suits this character
- Supporting actors done well
- I loved the Kuppusamy part
Bad points of Tamil Padam
- Second half should have been done more careful
- There are times I really felt boring

I remember you saying you gave this movie a 6 out of 10 on the user opinion post.
Seems like you have re-considered the rating. But I agree, 7 suits this film. I hope to see a sequel in which they mimic Vettaikaran, Endhiran, VTV, Asal etc.
Another great thing is, they got Nirav Shah for the camera work which was fantastic, so even if it was a low budget film, they got a great cinematographer to make the film more watchable
Watch Goa, definitely sir. It's really good.

i feel your review is good but according to me we can give 9/10 for this movie..Firstly boldly taken… Superb movie and above all clean family entertainer… That kuthu song could have been avoided or at least shortened.. But movie superb…So i feel giving 7 is bit less. 100% better than any pongal releases and vettaikaaran… Goa i saw but to be frank movie is not as expected… Many places Venkat Prabhu showed his director touch but in many place movie was total mishap… A feel is missing in the movie… thats the problem…can give 4/10… But tamil padam superb

Goa is more of a youth entertainer.
I wouldn't say you would like it since your married and all but if you have friends to go with, it's a good treat.
It's certainly not as good as Saroja and Chennai 089889898whatever.
I personally thought the movie was a good entertainer but once again, a few scenes coulda been cut out.
It's an ok film, a 7 should be given.
Tamil Padam once again probably has to be the highlight of the few Pongal releases.
Asal to hit screens tomorrow. I've booked FSFS ticket. The first show is at 5:30 AM!!!

Your not old but your in the "married" age range and I feel that Goa is a bit more modernised and fits for all under perhaps 22 who are yet experiencing a life in which they are studying.
I watched Asal. I'm not gonna spoil it for you but honestly….your gonna be really, really, really surprised.

Just saw Tamil Padam. Here are my comments:
1. Movie satire and spoof – new genre, should have started this quite a while ago, for the wealth of movies we have.
2. Spoof is good and healthy – infact, if we see our own marriage video after 2 years, we will only laugh. Wont we?
3. Like you said, Hotshots madhiri, I would love to see sequels.
4. Thalapathi, mouna ragam, nattamai, pounu pounu dhan, run, kadhalan, sivaji, etc, etc – very broad syllabus !
5. I will remember the Anniyan and Aboorva Sahodarargal jokes even if I get an amnesia.
6. Andha gramam flash back was a bit too long – funny, but konjam izhuvai !
7. Shanmuga Sundaram is someone who is being mocked so hard, he comes around mocking tamil movies – nice try !
7. Vennira Aadai Moorthy, famous for double meaning jokes, andha kaakai vandhu kotharadhu was funny !
8. Siva carried his role effortlessly – good job Mr Mirchi !!

first 1 hour is good but after the interval it is waste,could have done well,can give 4/10
This film was great.
I'd give it a 6 if the rest of the film after the bit Siva goes to Cinemapatti was improved.
