Naanayam Movie Story
Prasanna works in Trust bank owned by SPB. Suddenly he falls in love with a girl. The girl is getting kidnapped and Sibiraj threatens Prasanna saying he will kill the girl if he is not helping Sibiraj to rob the bank.
Then Prasanna helps him to rob the bank but he escapes from the bank and makes Sibiraj to get caught in hands of police. But after this he finds out that the girl he loved is also a member of Sibiraj’s gang. Again he also finds that the robbery was initiated by SPB.
Good Points of Naanayam
- Good storyline
- Low budget but projected well
- Songs are good
Bad points of Naanayam
- Bad screen play
- Too many twists, so it is hard to understand the story
- SPB playing bad guy role did not suit the film
- Songs placement in the movie

I saw this movie too and here are my comments.
1. Different genre to TAMIL movies, so good job Shakthi Rajan !
2. Movie was definitely stylish – everyone looked posh and stylish
3. Sibhi was trying to mimic Satyaraj – not bad
4. Kadhaila twist irukalam, aanaa kadhaye twist-aa !! This was my feeling at the end of the movie.
5. Fresh faces like Logu did well.
6. Your comments about Dhoom 2, etc – I agree.
7. Your comment about SPB – not sure. I kinda random guessed it at the very beginning. He looked and played helpless.
8. My wife brought up this point – how could they have set up Easwari (Nandhini) to meet Prasanna BEFORE he sees the bag thirudan outside the bank? May have been an oversight in editing and story board assembly. Not sure.
Overall, a good movie.

worth to watch once
The thing is that the bag thirudan has nothing to do with the gang.
Prasanna recognised the guy from 5 years ago when SPB was attacked at the golf course.
The bag thirudan was just Eashwari's ex-husband, so it was a coincidence.
Then why did he keep the bag in the same bank locker.
Somehow,… I expected this climax when I was watching clips in the Ktv for the past 3 days. But, I expected that this was all a test conducted by SPB to his employee not to cheat him. I was very eager to find how he would avoid public humiliation, but as usual I was only 90% right it seems.
Alright, I will try to guess better next time.
Just curious Suppan Sir… I s there a reason why arent reviewing Rajini movies? Was looking for Sivaji review, though a little late, I came to know about you recently.
Another suggestion: since you have great movie sense and analytical skills – have you thought about reviewing specific directors and/or actors – how they have evolved, etc? You are doing that as part of reviewing a movie right now, but may be a review per actor / director from you would be nice to listen to.
It's a good movie to watch. Even though Nandini/Eswari character imitates Catherine Zeta Jones' activity shown in the movie Entrapment and most of the concepts are copied from some hollywood movies, "Naanayam" has good creativities.
