Movie Story
This one of the flop movies of 2009. Vinay (Uday) and his friend like brother Madhan who has been adopted since childhood live a happy life. Kalabavan Mani is a very big business man and father of Vinay and he is the one adopted Madhan and he takes care of both equally.
Vinay meets Kajal and falls in love with her. Same time Madhan also falls in love with her.
Kalabhavan Mani is a big business man who acquires traditional businesses and liquidate them. So he has more enemies than friends. One of his enemy will set up an assassin to kill Vinay. But accidently Madhan the adopted son dies and Vinay escapes.
Hearing this Kalabhavan tells the truth that Madhan is his original son not Vinay. Then Vinay takes revenge on Kalabhavan Mani and asks him to tell the truth to the world so his enemies will not target him. Same way the climax.
This is one more flop from director Saran.
Good Points
Santhanam rocks again. He imitates “Jai” from the song “Kangal Irandal” and “Arya” in “Naan Kadavul”. So Superb.
Bad points
Vinay could not even speak good Tamil. He is worst than Suppan
Script is good but screenplay is too bad
Nothing in the movie is good other than Santhanam

I really liked the film….if I directed it.
Saran had the correct script and concept, he just had to nail the screenplay.
The presentation was weak, otherwise this film would've been a success.
Some of the dialogue wasn't that good and some scenes looked rather….unprofessional.
At times the editing was rather weak in areas.
Otherwise a good story presented bad.

wish asal is not like this movie
This film was a good attempt to be honest.
If Saran nailed the presentation, the film wont be so bad.
The screenplay was poor for one character which was Vinay Rai. He didn't show much emotion and used some not-so-modern Tamil. The film would be better if the editing and cinematography was better too.
The cinematography was terrible because it was so basic. It is meant to be a high budget film but whats the point if nothing was presented well. The editing could've done justice to the film too. It was way too basic and needed more heavy cuts for a modern, Hollywood style crisp look.
