Masilamani Movie Story
Masi (Nakul) is a real estate broker who does broking and small trading in Chennai. He helps his neighbors and also he does many favors for his neighborhood.
Sunaina is a dance teacher who also learns dancing. Nakul falls in love with her but she is not. Since Nakul fights for social rights of his neighbors, he enters into an auditorium and tries to beat the MLA where Sunaina is about to show her dance performance. Now the function stops and Sunaina thinks that Nakul is a rowdy and she starts hating him. Knowing this Nakul changes his name and enters in Sunaina’s family without her knowledge and Sunaina’s family starts to like Mani (Nakul)
At one point Sunaina find that Mani-Nakul is a rowdy, but Nakul says I am not Masi but I am Mani. So he creates a scene as there is one more person in the city that is similar and he is Masi. Sunaina falls in love with Mani but not Masi. Finally in climax Nakul reveals that he is the one cheating her with 2 names Masi and Mani.
There was no logic in the movie, I could not accept any other points from the movie after the stupid logic he has shown but the people in the theater started to clap and whistle. So I thought this film at least deserves 4 marks.
Good Points
Sunaina looks very simple and homely, same like Kadalil Vizhunden
Story concept is good
Santhanam rocks
Couple of songs are good and shot very well
Though there is no logic, the directed confidently finished the movie in 2nd half
Bad Points
No logic in the movie
Masi and Mani are only differentiated with the hair style and dress, you can not digest it
Comedy scenes are boring
No need of Baskar (Pattabi) and Karunas
If Sunaina can believe that Masi and Mani are different, then will she be ready to take someone else as husband?
Director should have worked on more points to differentiate Mani and Masi. This was so stupidity that people can believe this crap.
Nakul should comb his hair or cut his hair, he only has half face already and if he tries to hide it then it is irritating.
Some scenes Nakul has over acted
Some Tamil movie style scenes like children with the heart problems are not needed
Hero is an orphan as seen in 1 billion times
